Laws about health and safety at work

The Health and Safety Executive – the HSE – is an independent organisation that sets standards for companies and employers on how they must look after your health, safety and wellbeing at work.

It can investigate companies and employers when things go wrong and can enforce the law if a company is found guilty of harming you.
