Sleep

Sleep is essential to human life. No one can function properly without sleep because our brains and bodies regenerate when we sleep. ‘Regenerate’ means growing or repairing cells after they are lost or damaged because of illness or injury.

Your mood, energy levels and ability to cope with daily life are affected if you do not get enough sleep or if your sleep is disturbed.
